A topical lidocaine numbing cream is applied to the area that well be treated. Most of our clients rate the a 3/10 discomfort.

Prior to a aesthetics inject treatment try and avoid painkillers (except tyenol), fish oils, and Vitamin E which tend to thin the blood and my increase the chance of a bruise. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to the treatment.

You can go on with your day following any of the treatments but we encourage you to not do any strenuous activity, hot tub or sauna for 24 hours post treatment. Avoid a facial procedure and massage lying on your face for at least 10-14 days following neurotoxins like Botox. Best not to plan a treatment prior to a big event like a wedding or family pictures for at least 2-3 weeks after procedure in case of a bruise or swelling.

Face first medical aesthetics has a medical director that is on call and available via video call during all clinic hours. She looks at all the medical information provided prior to injecting and medical treatments. The Injectors are registered nurses and trained in the area of medical aesthetics. You are in safe hands!
